I am currently teaching two courses in the Department of Earth Sciences at HKU, and co-teaching a third (SEDIMENTARY ENVIRONMENTS)

Remote Sensing

this course is focused on applications of satellite-based or airborne instrumentation for solving geological and environmental problems. You will learn practical applications of visible, infrared, radar and laser data.

Leaving Earth

The class  explores the technological challenges, economic realities, and ethical and legal considerations we will face as a space-faring civilization in the future. This is a Common Core Course.

SEDIMENTARY ENVIRONMENTS

This course discusses the origin, diagenesis, classification and economic importance of sedimentary rocks. WE ALSO EXPLORE SEDIMENTARY ROCKS IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM. CO-TAUGHT WITH DR RYAN MCKENZIE
